Kynzie comes to IdeaLegal with extensive in-house experience. She spent five years practicing law at NAVEX Global, the world’s largest software provider for governance, risk, and compliance services, serving over 10,000 global customers. While at NAVEX, she drafted, reviewed, and negotiated hundreds of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements, including data processing and security terms, Business Associate Agreements, non-disclosure agreements. She also helped to streamline legal department processes and manage corporate compliance initiatives. Kynzie also supported the company’s HR team by consulting on employment law matters and managing its global employment branding and talent acquisition team.
She then moved to a small company poised for acquisition that provided a SaaS-based compliance platform, where she served as the legal content product manager. She was responsible for delivering learning content and compliance programs related to consumer protection, advertising laws, privacy requirements, and labor and employment issues. She frequently presented to corporate compliance and C-Suite executives and business owners nationwide on these issues, as well as presenting at various conferences and seminars.
Kynzie obtained her law degree and certificate in dispute resolution from Willamette University College of Law, where she worked as a Legal Research and Writing Student Assistant and was a Court Certified Law Clerk for the Marion County District Attorney’s Office, specializing in prosecuting Domestic Violence crimes. She is admitted to the Oregon State Bar.
